Hold US imperialism accountable for genocide vs Palestine! Expel US troops from the Philippines!
We march to the US embassy today to hold US imperialism accountable for the ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. As US bombs rain down on Gaza for 37 days now, the US is giving Israel another $14.3 billion to pursue its war on the Palestinian people. The deaths of more than 4,000 children and the destruction of hospitals, schools and refugee camps, are the responsibility of the Biden government. The US has provided unqualified support for the war crimes committed by Israel and has refused even the most basic call for a ceasefire. The US is an active participant in the mass murder of thousands. More than ever, millions of people across the globe are realizing that imperialism means war.
We march to the US embassy to denounce the ongoing US war games in the Philippines and the US military intervention in Asia. The US has used the Philippines’ just demands in the West Philippine Sea as pretext to establish bases in the Philippines. The US is only interested in hegemonic agenda, not in Philippine sovereignty and national interest. The US will use the Philippines in its proxy war with China, as it did Ukraine in the US proxy war with Russia. We demand the complete demilitarization of the West Philippine Sea. The Filipino people must not allow our country to be a playground and footstool of imperialist war-mongers.
We call on the Filipino people to extend the strongest solidarity with the struggling Palestinian people. The Philippine struggle for national liberation against imperialism is connected to the Palestinian struggle for liberation against Zionism and US imperialism. We cannot be truly free if Palestine is not free and so long as imperialism holds sway. Imperialism has propped up the Zionist regimes in Israel and fascist and puppet regimes in the Philippines. We thus have a common struggle with the Palestinian people.
We reiterate our demand: From Palestine to the Philippines, stop the US war machine!
