Bayan Response to Paolo Duterte

Rep. Paolo Duterte is confusing the democratic right to criticize with the criminal act of making grave threats against another person. He should remind his father to stop making death threats against critics and then have his apologists pass it off as a joke.

May be an image of 4 people and text that says "M PUSTICE Bayan response to Paolo Duterte BAYAN"

It is not ACT Teachers Partylist Rep France Castro who should come clean, but Sara Duterte who has yet to explain how her office spent P125 million in 11 days, and Rodrigo Duterte, who admitted to using confidential funds to order the killing of drug suspects and alleged communists.

The three Dutertes – the ex president, the vice president, and the congressman – should not be “thin-skinned” and be more tolerant of criticism, as they advise their critics, more so, respect the right of citizens to push back against bullying and abuse of positions of power, including the filing of appropriate cases in courts. Hindi yun “drama” kundi paglaban para sa pananagutan at hustisya.

Lastly, who is “Rep. Franco Castro” referred to by Paolo Duterte? He should make an effort to know his HOR colleagues more instead of using threatening innuendo against those whom he labels “Leftist lawmakers”.
